The flowering jasmine plant was introduced to China during 
The Han Dynasty (206 BCE to 220 AD), 300 years later during 
The Nan Liang (502–557), Jasmine Scented Tea was invented.
However, It didn’t really catch on until the Qing Dynasty in the 1600s 
When China began exporting tea to the West.

The jasmine flowers used in this enticing cha, 
Is grown high up in the Cao Bang Mountains of Vietnam. 
The flowers are harvested early in the day at their peak stage of nectar
While the blossom buds are still closed. 
The blossoms are kept cool and added to the dried green tea leave until nightfall
When they are allowed to finally bloom and release their exquisite fragrance 
Into the tea. This process is repeated 7 times over a weeks time.
